The first festival of the season for us was awesome at Farmersville! Fantastic crowd, and all the bad weather that was supposed to happen simply didn't. Special thanks to Stark From KISS-FM for the intros, plus to Sara Korte. Rod Grant from The Rave sat in and really got the crowd going. Shout out to Eric Webb of Farmersville, thanks as always.

Pawnee RAWWWKED!!! Absolute mayhem, packed all night till the last song. Rod Grant from The Rave sat in and did awesome yet again. Shout out to Mikey Austin for his work on this show for us. Our soundman Junior had an unexpected health issue, and our newly licensed EMT security guy (Rich Whiting) was on the spot. After an ambulance trip to the hospital, Junior came back OK. SPECIAL thanks to Warren Taylor for filling in. Thanks to the Pawnee Police and paramedics for the quick response.

Thunderstorms all night with flooding...you would think this would hamper the show, but we only had to cut one song at the end due to flooding. Fantastic turnout despite the weather, thanks to all. Shout out to Gary Hadden plus the entire staff for taking really good care of us (and the stage).

This wraps up F5's 12th and final year of playing full time. The band will play a handful of reunion shows in 2009.
2008 was another great year, and one of the best summer festival seasons we've had.
The band would like to thank everybody that has come out to see us for the last 12 years, plus all of the musicians, soundmen, dancers, security guys, photographer David Hobby, KISS-FM, E & F and everybody else that has worked with us.
